Like many Kiwi business’, A·one Kitchens + Interiors started with an idea driven by passion and created in the backyard.
Nearly four decades ago Daniel Lever completed his joinery trade certificate, and started crafting for friends and family in his backyard. With nothing more than hand tools and passion, he soon outgrew the space and established a small workshop, laying the foundation for a business built on quality craftsmanship and reputation.
A New Chapter.
In recent years, Daniel passed the reins to Nick Chatfield and Emile Thomson, both long-time industry professionals with over 40 years of combined experience in building and joinery. Having worked together for over a decade, their shared vision, strong values and hands-on experience have brought fresh energy and growth to A•one.
Growing Nationwide.
With demand growing and a commitment to servicing both islands, A•one proudly opened a second factory in Christchurch in 2025, to better serve the South Island. This expansion marks a significant step forward in offering faster turnaround times and more personalised service across New Zealand.
